Our Eco-roof thermal blanket insulation is an extremely popular method of insulating heritage properties. It is extremely energy efficient, reduces the risk of condensation yet is fully breathable. BBA Certified, our Eco-roof is suitable for use in all heritage properties including those that are listed.
As heritage roofing specialists, we also have experience in installing conservation roof windows. Consequently we are used to working with local conservation departments in order to achieve a sympathetic appearance to any period property.
We use a variety of rooflights which are designed to look like original Victorian roof windows despite having all the benefits of todays thermal technology. They keep the character of any period or heritage property whilst being a lot more energy efficient than the original rooflights.
Lead is renowned for its longevity. This traditional product can last up to three times longer than other materials, making it perfect for use on historical and period properties. Most lead used today is recycled which reduces the impact on the environment. Whilst it is an expensive product, it is still the preferred product for use on historical and period properties and does last a considerable amount of time.
